Benefit Dandelion Brightening Face Powder

I have been loving this recently!

I would describe it as a sheer ballerina pink finishing powder with a subtle shimmer, and it takes your complexion from dull to radiant in an instant! Perfect for a little perk throughout the day or to brighten if your have dull skin. There is also a little included which I prefer not to use.

Benefit says: Dust on our soft, pink, perk-me-up powder for instant radiance and a youthful appearance. Its the perfect shade of pink that brightens everyone's complexion.

I completely agree!

Dandelion simply gives me a "wake up face" in the morning, which will be turn a little bit oily in 2-3 hours. Since I have extremely oily skin.

I never put too much attention to Dandelion's scent, it's very soft like baby powder, but not disturbing. You can't smell it once it applied on your face.

I recommend this to everyone as it can work well on everyones skin tone/type.
You can use it in many ways. You can stroke it across your face as a finishing powder, you can use it for touch ups, you can use it alone for a pretty flushed look, and you can use it over your blush to tone it down.

Have you tried this?

Thank you for reading,

L'Oreal GlamShine Stain Splash (YSL Glossy Stain Dupes!)

After trying a few lip stains, I decided I wanted one a little less drying. So after hearing these babies have been hailed as dupes for YSL Glossy Stains, I've been keeping a beady eye out for their arrival in the UK. Eventually, I purchased this little lip product in shade 102 Romy.

It is described as a pretty pink tone with some coral hues and subtle shimmer. I would define Romy as a wearable shade during the day. However, if it’s not your ideal pop of colour then there are six other shades to choose from.

Glam Shine Stain Splash is housed in a unusual oblong shell and has an artificial strawberry scent which I quite like. The applicator is a unique and soft wand which easily bends and moves with the contour of your lips so you can apply precisely.

On application, my lips felt cooled and coated with what felt like a gloss however, its quick-drying properties means that within seconds the wet feeling transformed into a matte feeling whilst maintaining its intense colour AND long-lasting shine.
L’OrĂ©al have certainly delivered the goods and provided us with an excellent lip product which delivers on its promise.

Available from Boots and Superdrug from £7.99

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder

I thought it was about time I post a review on this, since I use this everyday and it's a really good budget buy from Rimmel.
The powder is packaged in a flat pot with a clear lid. It is fairly travel friendly however sometimes the lid can come off unexpectedly but this is mainly on my dressing table anyway, so it's not a problem for me!

I usually apply this with my MAC 150, because I find it works really well just lightly dusted all over my face I don't want shine because I'm not a fan of the dewy look on me. I have the shade Sandstorm.

It blends out really well over my foundation/BB cream, and I use it more liberally on my nose, chin and forehead. I then blend it out to seal in my base make up. It claims to minimise pores, which I actually think it does. My skin definitely looks a little more airbrushed after I've used it.

It does a great job of covering up shine and keeping my make up in place all day. In terms of lasting power, it does last for 5 hours, and then the shine slowly starts to come back.

I would really recommend this powder if you have oily skin or just want to tone down the shine of your foundation.

Available in Boots and Superdrug for £3.99
